PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box structure of sufficient rigidity and excellent sealability which can be stored for a long time and easily manufactured. SOLUTION: Surface parts forming a front surface part 2, a bottom surface part 3, a back surface part 4, a lid surface part 8, and a handling part 9 are formed in a plate 13 having a wooden layer 12 on one surface 1a of a sheet-like base material 11 by cutting a plurality of V-shaped grooves 23 of 90°while leaving the sheet-like base material 11, and a stepped-down portion 10 is formed on each edge. The sheet-like base material 11 is folded as a face side at the position of each groove 23, each groove 23 except the groove 23 between the back surface part 4 and the lid surface part 8 is fixed with an adhesive in a folded condition to form a ridge portion, and right and left side plates 21 are adhered and fixed to the stepped-down portions 10 at the front surface part 2, the bottom surface part 3, and the back surface part 4 to constitute a box part body 7. The lid surface part 8 is openable/closable, the stepped-down part 10 of the lid surface part 8 is abutted on upper edges of the right and left plates when closing the lid surface part 8, and the handling part 9 is located outside the front surface part 2.
