摘要 PURPOSE: A composite cable is provided to achieve improved efficiency of cable construction and maintenance by improving the branch structure of a copper wire and an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A composite cable comprises a center tension wire(23) arranged at the center of the cable; a stranded copper wire layer surrounding around the periphery of the center tension wire, and which is formed into two or more layers; an outer coating layer(31) covering the outermost stranded copper wire layer; and a water resistant coating layer(28) covering the periphery of stranded copper wire layer. The stranded copper wire layer is constituted by a plurality of copper wires(26) and one or more optical fiber units. The optical fiber unit includes an optical fiber(20), and a buffer tube(22) covering the optical fiber.
