PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete block having not only stability but also sufficient structural strength and making a large improvement in economic efficiency. SOLUTION: This concrete block is composed of one body 3 and four legs 2 connected two by two to both ends. The concrete block is constituted such that the phase of an axis 4 of each leg 2 centering on an axis 5 of the body 3 is different by 90°from the axis 4 of the leg 2 positioned on the opposite side, and designed such that the ratio of an area S representing the space of the blocks, to the maximum value K<SP>2</SP>of the vertical sectional area of the leg 2 is in a range of 1.0-1.8, that the inclination angle of the axis 4 of the leg 2 to the axis 5 of the body 3 is in a range of 45-90°and that the inclination angle of the outer peripheral surface of the leg 2 to the axis 4 of the leg 2 is in a range of 2-30°.
