PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame detector having inexpensive construction permitting stable flame wrapping for a long period. SOLUTION: The flame detector comprises an air mixture cylinder 10 for gasifying sprayed fuel gas at its inside and blowing the fuel gas from a burner port formed in part to the outside and a combustion stabilizing plate 15 formed of a conductor for stabilizing flames produced by the fuel gas blown from the burner port. A burner port forming part 11 forming at least one burner port 11a is formed of a conductor electrically liberated from the air mixture cylinder 10 and the earth. Preset voltage is applied between the burner port forming part 11 and the combustion stabilizing plate 15 for detecting a flame current during gas combustion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
