PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a household water purifier which is inexpensive, small in size and light in weight, nevertheless has a powerful water purification function, acts favorably on the human body as well, prevents dirt, such as rust, from sticking to a tank to be fed with water, and consumes less detergentsl so as to be environment-friendly. SOLUTION: A water-purifying agent 20 is packed into a case of a main unit cartridge 10 and powerful magnets 16a and 16b are attached to both ends. The magnetic energy of the magnets acts on tap water and improves its osmotic force, solvency and water-purifying power and therefore the magnets act favorably on the human body and the washing power is enhanced, thereby drastically reducing the amount of the detergent or cost for the detergent and contamination to the environment. In particular, the synergistic effects of the magnetic energy and far IR energy are generated and the above effects are made additionally higher by the combination use of the magnetic energy and the far IR energy.
