<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show an objective possibility of improvement in a housekeeping book advice system by extracting housekeeping book information about houses with common values and showing a statistical improvement expectation value of every expenditure item. <P>SOLUTION: A category extraction part 2 extracts housekeeping book information in the same category according to a condition for a set item, an ideal value calculation part 4 assumes particular values of deviation to be ideal values, and an improvement expectation value calculation part 5 calculates differences between actual values and the ideal values as improvement expectation values.
