PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for prevention of the rise of stored coins that can prevent a coin jam without using an excitation device. SOLUTION: When coins sorted in a sorting part fall into tubes 21 of a storage chamber and an overflow chamber from the sorting part, dispensing parts that will not dispense coins C1 make a dispensing action. In the dispensing action of the dispensing parts at coin storage, as coin receiving members 23 movable synchronously with dispensing plates 22 when coins C1 are dispensed are restricted by stoppers 24, the dispensing plates 22 are moved back and forth to pull the lowest coins C1 of coin groups stored in stacks out of the tubes 21 and return them back. The dispensing parts function as an excitation device for preventing rising of coins, so that a coin receiving/dispensing machine can be structurally compact. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
