PURPOSE:To provide an injection needle with practical stiffness and toughness and disposable by combustion, by manufacturing a fiber reinforced injection needle with combustible fiber and arranging the fiber along the direction from an end of the needle to the other. CONSTITUTION:An injection needle is manufactured with synthetic resin, preferably high modulus thermoplastic resin with a bending elastic modulus of 2X10<4>kg/cm<2> or higher, e.g. polycarbonate or cyclic olefin based ones, considering easiness of handling and biological safety. Fiber should be combustible. The manufacture is to insert continuous fiber 2 into a fiber inserting part 12 of a cross head part 1 and to advance it. Heated and melted thermoplastic resin 4 is pushed into the cross head part 1 via an extruding and molding connection 3 to saturate the fiber. The saturated fiber is drawn from between a dice 131 and a mandrel 123 to make a tube body for a hollow needle by cooling and solidifying a pushed-out and tube-shaped body 51. |
