PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the range of replaced packets by decreasing variations in usage rates among transmission paths installed in parallel in a network system wherein node apparatuses are connected in a ring form by the parallel multiplex transmission paths and each node apparatus transmits packets to a prescribed multiplex transmission path to switch the packets. SOLUTION: The node apparatus is provided with: a buffer monitor section for monitoring the number of packets temporarily stored in a buffer of each channel; a channel extract section for extracting an optional channel on the basis of the number of temporarily stored packets in each buffer; and a control information notice section for communicating buffer monitor information or channel extract information between the node apparatuses, and the node apparatus preferentially transmits packets to a channel of an adjacent node apparatus being a packet transmission destination wherein a buffer storing a smaller number of temporarily stored packets exists.
