The loader has a distributor (8) including an obturation unit (10) for closing a fluid supply duct (9) when the fluid flow in the duct exceeds a predetermined value to immobilize a lifting arm. The lifting arm is moved by a hydraulic jack (4). A fluid flow regulator (11) is interposed between the obturation unit and the distributor controls closure of the obturation unit. An independent claim is also included for a public work or agriculture vehicle comprising a frontal loader.
