PURPOSE: A lifting device for the disabled is provided to help a protector, even when he has no other helper, to easily move a disabled person, like a spine-injured or paraplegic one, from a bed to a wheel chair or vice versa. CONSTITUTION: The lifting device for the disabled includes; a base(10) having many wheels(11) on its lower side; a hollow body(20) projected in the direction of a pipe axis in the approximate center over the base(10) and containing a geared rod(21) having a threads on its circumference; a cap(23) coupled with an upper side of the geared rod(21) and fitted in an idling manner to an upper side of the body(20); a driving motor arranged outside the body(20) and moving the geared rod(21) up- and down; a supporting plate(40) coupled with an upper side of the cap(23) and having a projection projected in at least one direction; a handle(50) whose both ends are fixed on both sides of the supporting plate(40) or the body(20); and a control(60) operating the drive motor.
