<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize easy and secure management of users who can use a printing system and safe printing excellent in security. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing system, an authentication server 180 executes authentication of adequacy of each user who can use the printing system based on a user identifier and body characteristic data received from a print image processor (a print server and a printer) by referring a lookup table in which a user identifier and body characteristic data about body characteristics of the user are coordinated and the authentication result is transmitted to the print image processing device.
