PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical screen for strainers, which facilitates discharging of foreign matter in fluid captured and accumulated in the cylindrical screen, such as a Y-type strainer and steam trap, which are instruments containing the cylindrical screen for strainers and installed in fluid piping, and cleaning of the clogging in the small holes on the outer periphery of the screen for filtration and the dirt, or the like, sticking to the inside and outside surfaces of the cylindrical screen. SOLUTION: The cylindrical screen 1 for strainers, which allows the fluid housed from an inserting/removing port C of the strainer and filtered by the small holes (h) of the screen to pass a flow passage communicating with a strainer inlet is provided with a handle 5 on the inner side at least at one end of the cylindrical screen 1.
