PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expandable hut easily installable by being continuously arranged in an opening of a building having a room having the opening communicating with outdoors, superior in easiness-to-use due to communicating with the building opening, compactly contractible after use, usable by being easily restored to the hut in reuse, and having various uses. SOLUTION: This expandable hut A has an inside frame member 1 arranged along a house wall body 93 around the opening for forming a house opening 92, an outside front member 2 opposed to this member, a ceiling member 3 and a floor member 4 arranged between the members 1 and 2 and contractible/expandable according to the approach/separation of the member 2 to the member 1 and right and left side members 5 capable of being folded up and housed on the side of the inside frame member 1 when folding up the ceiling member 3 and the floor member 4 and expandable to the side of the outside front member 2 when expanding the ceiling member 3 and the floor member 4.
