A display screen element has a stack of several flat plastic foil sections lying on top of one another with a front face (9) forming the frontal visual display surfaces, and spaced apart and electrically controllable connection surfaces on one flat side. On the other flat side (6) are inclined mirror surfaces arranged opposite the respective light-emitting stack of layers (3) and reflecting the light generated by the light-emitting stack (3) and beamed into the foil, to the front face (9).
