The collapsible snow sled has two parallel skids (4) which are supported on struts (10) connected by a bench (3) with a seat mounted on it. The struts and -or supports and other sled components are jointed under the seat lower edge, with an interior link and the connection position locked by externally operated catches. The catches (8) can be over centre catches.
