<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and an image forming apparatus which can be easily operated even by an aged person or handicapped person. <P>SOLUTION: When an operation of an upper button is continuously performed for prescribed period (200 to 202, 212 to 214), a setting value of reduction scale is varied at different intervals of numeric value variation between a case of a voice guide mode by a voice guide button and a case of a normal mode (204 to 208, 216 to 220). In this case, variation speed of a value in which the interval of the numeric value variation in the normal mode is smaller than the interval of the numeric value variation in the voice guide mode, namely, the reduction scale setting value is set as fast speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
