PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference between tube current values caused by arranging positions of discharge lamps in lighting a plurality of discharge lamps arranged in parallel. SOLUTION: When a plurality of discharge lamps 11-14 arranged in parallel with secondary windings of a plurality of inverter transformers 7-10 are lit by supplying discharge power to electrode parts of the discharge lamps 11-14, a wire connection structure is constituted such that the discharge power is inputted at a phase opposite to each other in the electrode parts a-d on the same side between adjacent discharge lamps.
