PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for heat dissipation which acquires a good heat dissipation effect even if there is an obstacle in the vicinity thereof. SOLUTION: The cabinet 10 for heat dissipation comprises a frame 11 which constitutes the contour of the cabinet and a plurality of shelf units 12 stacked in the height direction inside the cabinet. An upper shielding plate 19 and a lower shielding plate 15 are each composed of one plate having nearly a rectangular shape. Each of the shielding plates is extended from lower parts of ventilation holes 14 or 18 formed in either front, rear, right, or left face of the frame 11 to upper parts of ventilation holes 14 or 18 formed in the opposite face and is attached aslant so that it may be in contact with the opposite face.
