PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated keypad in which a keypad rubber is integrated with an EL element for a backlight by a silicon injection process, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of manufacturing a light-emitting element for the backlight; printing adhesives on the surface and backside of the light-emitting element; proceeding the injection process and integrating the light-emitting element with a silicon layer by the adhesives; cutting the integrated light-emitting element and the silicon layer in a shape suitable for a portable terminal machine; and adhering keys to the silicon layer in response to a light-emitting surface in the surface of the light-emitting element. The light-emitting element is composed of a number of EL elements arranged so as to correspond to the keys, and provided with a number of protrusions formed on the backside of the light-emitting element in correspondence to the keys, respectively, in the silicon injection process.
