PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly prepare a packing article by combining and sorting articles to be packed of different items and to easily carry out confirmation of consistency with a client. SOLUTION: A reader 21 reads-in a pasteboard code B printed on a pasteboard 40 (S101). An image processing/operation device 24 recognizes that booklets 51, 52, 56 are required from the corresponding booklets 51-56 based on the pasteboard code B read by the reader 21 (S102). Only feeders 23-1, 23-2, 23-6 are operated in interlocking with feeding-in action of the pasteboard 40 to feed the booklets 51, 52, 56 corresponding to the pasteboard 40 (S103). A first inspection reader 31 reads-in the pasteboard code B after sorting (S104) and a second inspection reader 32 reads-in superposed booklet codes C1, C2, C6 after sorting (S105).
