<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein a difference in the quantity of paper transported per rotation of a heat roll occurs in the heat roll due to the difference in its kinds, or a change over aging or a change by heat in its shape and the difference becomes a cause for the transport defect of the paper and the difference causes deviation of a buffer angle from a neutral position, and if paper transpot is started or stopped in such a deviated state, the behavior of a buffer increases resulting in considerable impairment of printing quality such as letter blurring and spilling. <P>SOLUTION: When the tentative peripheral length of the heat roll is defined as Lh, the quantity of transport of a paper transport roll in transporting of the heat roll for a distance (LhxRh) by rotating the heat roll at the tentative number of revolutions Rh is defined as L1 and the displacement quantity of the buffer as L2, the true peripheral length of the heat roll is determined as (L1-L2)/Rh and the true number of constant rotation as L1/(L1-L2)xRh. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
