PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillation circuit capable of decreasing an oscillation start time not only at application of power but also even just after release of oscillation stop, and suppressing an unnecessarily consumed current. SOLUTION: The oscillation circuit includes: an oscillation circuit body having an oscillation stop function; and a voltage application circuit for applying an intermediate voltage between a power level and a ground level to at least one part of internal nodes of the oscillation circuit body for a period of the oscillation stop of the oscillation circuit body by the oscillation stop function and applying no intermediate voltage thereto for a period when the oscillation stop is released.
