PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car wash capable of reducing the risk of collision with an obstacle when an obstacle detection sensor redetects an object. SOLUTION: If an obstacle detection sensor 44 detects an obstacle when a car wash body (front body and rear body) moves back, a backward movement command to a front body movement driver unit 45 and a rear body movement driver unit 47 is turned off so as to interrupt the backward movement. If the obstacle detection sensor 44 ceases to detect the obstacle, it outputs a low-speed command so as to resume the backward movement at low speed, and then outputs a high-speed command after a certain time period so as to return to the original speed. In this structure that resumes the backward movement at low speed after the obstacle is no longer detected, it is possible to shorten the distance of free-wheel movement when the obstacle is detected again and the movement is stopped, thereby reducing the risk of collision.
