<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exothermic agent capable of yielding a thin and lightweight exothermic body and having a very wide range of applications such as not only for exothermic materials including a disposable body warmer but also in the fields of medicines, beautification, food products or perfumes, and to provide the exothermic body using the agent. <P>SOLUTION: The exothermic agent contains an organometallic compound.
