<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rotary drum display device for facilitating the maintenance, replacement, recycle, etc. of a pattern display mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary drum display device comprises a plurality of pattern display mechanisms 1 mounted on a device body with a front opening in the state as stored and juxtaposed inside the device body. In each pattern display mechanism 1, a driving wheel on a first side and a driven wheel on a second side of a mechanism body 71, facing each other, are rotatably attached, and an endless belt-like pattern display body 2 is rotatably wound around the driving wheel and the driven wheel. In the method of manufacturing the rotary drum display device, as each pattern display mechanism 1 is detachable from the device body, the pattern display body 2 is detached from the detached pattern display mechanism 1, and a new pattern display body 2 is attached to the pattern display mechanism with the driving wheel 11 and the driven wheel 21 being attached to assemble the pattern display mechanism 1.
