PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleaching detergent composition with enhanced bleaching detergency. SOLUTION: The bleaching detergent composition contains (a) a peroxide generating hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution, (b) a peracid precursor reacting with hydrogen peroxide to generate an organic peracid, (c) a nonionic surfactant, and (d) a polyalkylene glycol.
