PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer tape carrying out marking with a prescribed pattern and having good visibility in the transfer tape transferring a coating film to the surface of an adherend and marking the adherend. SOLUTION: The transfer tape has a mold release layer on one of surfaces of a substrate and a transfer layer composed of a colorant layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The transfer tape is characterized in that only the colorant layer of the pattern part can be transferred and the marking can be carried out with the prescribed pattern in the colorant layer applied and formed on the whole surface by applying and forming only the pressure-sensitive adhesive in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with the prescribed pattern according to gravure printing.
