PURPOSE: A weather resistant ASA (acrylate-styrene-acrylonitrile)-based thermoplastic resin composition and its preparation method are provided, the low temperature impact resistance, the chemical resistance and the heat stability. CONSTITUTION: The ASA-based thermoplastic resin composition comprises 5-40 wt% of an alkyl acrylate-based large caliber rubber latex having a glass transition temperature of -50 to -40 deg.C and a particle size of 2,500-5,000 Angstrom; 5-40 wt% of an alkyl acrylate-based small caliber rubber latex having a glass transition temperature of -70 to -60 deg.C and a particle size of 800-2,000 Angstrom; 10-40 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound grafted into the rubber latex; 1-20 wt% of a cyano compound grafted into the rubber latex; and optionally 0.1-10 wt% of at least one functional monomer selected from the group consisting of methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, maleic acid, itaconic acid and fumaric acid.
