FIELD: machine-building industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with machine-building industry, in particular wit helical rotor pumps, and may be used in designs of the helical rotor pumps intended for different compositions pumping-over in building, petrochemical, food and other industries. The method of the tests of a working twain of the helical rotor pump provides for delivery of discharge pressures in a cavity of the stator and its measurement with the help of the manometer; one butt of the stator is made dead by a plug fitting with the union, fill in with a liquid, haul down in the filled cavity at a depth equal to a pitch of the stator, and the pressure is created moving the rotor in its axial direction without twirl and measure the pressure in the cavity of the plug fitting.
