The mirror has a support assembly formed by a fixation of a plate (11) on a support unit. A body structure (12) is equipped with a frame (14) and supports a mirror (13) and linked to the plate by an arm (15). The support unit comprises of a control unit for the opening of a door. The control unit has a rotating handle (16) linked mechanically to a locking/unlocking mechanism of the door and mounted on the arm. An Independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
