PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic device in which sound pressure can be effectively controlled without depending on the material of an amplifying member or the like by designing the configuration of a transmitting portion of the vibration from a sound generating body to the amplifying member. SOLUTION: The acoustic device is composed of the sound generating body 1, the amplifying member 5 for amplifying the audible vibration sound generated by the sound generating body 1, a holding member 4 for supporting the amplifying member 5, and a transmitting member 6 for transmitting the vibration generated by the sound generating body 1 to the amplifying member 5. The transmitting member 6 is arranged to make contact with or detach from the sound generating body 1 and the amplifying member 5, and also to change the contact condition between the sound generating body 1 and the amplifying member 5 so that the volume of the sound transmitted from the sound generating body 1 to the amplifying member 5 and generated at the amplifying member 5 can be controlled.
