PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dewatering treatment method of water containing earth and sand and a dewatering treatment device used therefor having a good operation of electroosmosis, facilitating the discharge of extracted soil moisture or the removal of dehydrated surplus soil, excellent in workability and causing no problem also in terms of safety. SOLUTION: The dewatering treatment device is so constituted that the front end thereof has a hopper 2 and that the rear end has a screw conveyor 1 to which an earth removal pipe 7 is connected, the screw conveyor 1 is so constituted that it has an insulated outer cylinder 3 connected to the hopper 2 and the earth removal pipe 7, an inner cylinder 4 allotting the narrow circumferential gap 9 inside of the outer cylinder 3, forming a large number of water collecting holes 10 in the circumference and, at the same time, connecting the hopper 2 and the earth removal pipe 7 and a rotatable screw 6 provided to the inside of the inner cylinder 4 to enable earth and sand to convey, the negative pole of a DC power unit 22 is connected to the screw 6 to make it as the negative pole, the inner cylinder 4 is connected to the positive pole to make it as the positive pole and that a vacuum conduit 28 connected to a vacuum pump is connected to the circumferential gap 9.
