A municipal mower and grass collection trailer or street cleaning has an enclosed container and a fan-powered suction hose directed towards the ground. The fan is located within a suction assembly that discharges incoming refuse tangentially into the container. The trailer further has a tip-up mechanism. In the tip-up discharge mode, the hose inlet is automatically de-coupled from the trailer.
