APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRIVING DATA OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for driving the data of a liquid crystal display panel are provided to increase the number of driving data lines double with reducing the number of the PDAC and NDAC to 1/4 in comparison with that of a conventional apparatus. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for driving the data of a liquid crystal display panel includes a multiplexing block, a digital-to-analog converting(DAC) block(60), a demultiplexing block and an output block(270). The multiplexing block supplies the inputted pixel data with dividing it along the time sequence. The DAC block(60) converts the digital pixel data time divided from the multiplexing block into an analog pixel signal to supply to the output channel. The demultiplexing block the time divided pixel signals from the DAC block(60) to the different output channel. And, the output block(270) performs the sampling and holding of the time divided pixel signal and outputs the hold pixel signals to the corresponding data lines.
