A steering arrangement (5) for a motor vehicle comprises an arm (6) swiveling about a forward axis (7) which can take up two definite positions (II,III) in addition to the driving position (I) to ease driver access and exit. The arm can be raised by 10-45degrees in position II and by 80-110degrees in III. Positions II and III are prevented by movement of the vehicle.
