The method of drilling aircraft gas turbine blades (10) involves forming multiple bores using electrochemical machining. For each bore, a separate boring electrode (14) is used, with all electrodes having the same spacing from the surface of the vane. The electrodes can be slidable in their holders for adjustment of the spacing.
