PURPOSE: An ARS function through a text message is provided to enable a cellular phone to directly transmit a text message when a user cannot transmit the text message or answer the phone, so that the user can easily inform other party of self situations. CONSTITUTION: An ARS function is configured through a text message function. A receiver presets an announcement message, and stores the set announcement message in a cellular phone. If the receiver sets the receiver's situation when the user cannot answer the phone on the cellular phone, the cellular phone directly transmits a text message to an originator, to inform the originator of the receiver's situation. An SOS function can be applied.
