REMOTE VALVE ACTUATOR

A remote valve actuator (200) for transmitting rotational motion to a remotely located valve is provided that includes a drive wheel (40), a driven wheel (50), and a drive cable (90) entrained about the drive wheel (40) so that rotational motion of the drive wheel (40) translates the drive cable (90) and drives the driven wheel (50) to effect actuation of the valve. The remote valve actuator (200) includes a coupler (100) for connecting the two ends (96, 98) of the cable to one another wihtout creating stress points proximate the cable ends (96, 98) as the coupler rides over the drive (40) and driven wheels (50).
