PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a base isolation structure surely capable of relieving local stress to a soft plate regardless of deformation directions, and an arrangement method for the base isolation structure. SOLUTION: The corner of a hard plate 112 of the base isolation structure 102 is made to be a rounded part 126 which is curved with a specific radius of curvature R.
