Disclosed is a stamp plate unit (4) comprising a stamp plate support (2) made of a first plastic material and a stamp plate (1) which is applied to the stamp plate support (2), is used for inking, and is made of a second plastic material that is soft compared with the first plastic material. The stamp plate support (2) and the stamp plate (1) are embodied as a single piece by means of a multicomponent injection molding method. Also disclosed is a self-inking stamp (5) that is provided with a reversing mechanism and an inventive stamp plate unit (4).
