PURPOSE:To collect dust, which drops from the surface of the filter upon removal of the air filter, and prevent the dust from being dropped to the outside of the filter by a method wherein a dust collecting section is provided at the lower side of a frame for the air filter inserted into an air filter inserting port for the main body of the air conditioner unit. CONSTITUTION:The air filter 4 consists of the frame 4a of synthetic resin and the filter 4b of non-woven cloth or the like, which is adhered integrally to the frame 4a and provided with protuberances 4d engaging with the protruded section 3a at the inserting port of the filter. The frame 4a of the air filter 4 is provided integrally with the dust receiving section 6, formed into L-shape or box-shape at the lower side of the filter 4b, at the front side thereof. According to this method, the dust adhered on the surface of the filter 4b, is received by the dust receiving section 6 upon removal of the filter 4 to remove the dust and the dust may be removed and collected under preventing to drop the dust to the outside of the filter. |
