GRAIN DISCHARGE APPARATUS OF COMBINE HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing leakage of grains of a combine harvester discharging apparatus for carrying out smooth operation by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A grain leakage-preventing plate is installed rotatably in a vertical direction through a fulcrum pin in the lower part of end part on the discharge side of an upper discharge cylinder of a discharge upper spiral conveyer and the grain leakage-preventing plate is brought into contact with the end edge of the upper discharge cylinder or separated therefrom to make the discharge cylinder closeable or openable. The upper end edge of the grain leakage-preventing plate in close state is positioned in a state separated in the lower direction by a prescribed distance from the upper discharge drive shaft of the discharge upper spiral conveyer, and only lower side of the upper discharge cylinder is constituted so as to be openable. The opening lower part of the upper discharge cylinder is constituted so as to be nearly closed by rotating the grain leakage-preventing plate upward through a return spring. An absorption means for absorbing and retaining the grain leakage-preventing plate rotated in close state is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
