SOLUTION: In a five-axis machining machine 10, deformation of a block 5 and a table 4 generated by cutting force between a machining tool T and a workpiece W is detected by displacement detecting sensors 42 and 43 at the time of machining. The deformation by the cutting force is compensated in an arithmetic part 46 of a controller 40. At this time, it is desirable that the displacement detecting sensors 42 and 43 are installed at portions where stress applied to the block 5 and the table 4 owing to the cutting force between the machining tool T and the workpiece W, is concentrated at the time of machining.
