PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe with ankle protecting function, which is enabled to stably protect and support the ankle of a user. SOLUTION: This shoe 25 with ankle protecting function is formed of a wearing opening 23 by sewing a main sole 21 with spikes 21a on the lower face and an upper including an inner leather 22a and an outer leather 22 together. The shoe comprises a pocket 3 formed in the outside face of the upper positioned in the inside of the ankle, a reinforcing piece 5 inserted into the pocket 3 to support the ankle, and a fixing band 15 to press-fit the reinforcing piece 5 to prevent outward departure.
