摘要 <p>The present invention discloses the alkylation of the food provisions containing benzene over an alkylation catalyst of beta zeolite which is formulated with silica agglutinant and has an average regeneration coefficient of at least 95% for at least three regenerations. The alkylation reaction in the liquid phase or supercritical region is done with a C2-C4 alkylation agent, specifically, ethylene. The catalyst exhibits a regeneration coefficient of at least 95% after benzene ethylation with ethylene in a molar proportion of benzene/ethylene of less than 10. The benzene ethylation happens in a primary initial designed activity. The operation is continued until the catalyst activity decreases for the benzene ethylation with a value of at least 0.1% and no more than 1% from the primary initial designed activity. The operation of the reaction for the alkylation ends and a regeneration procedure establishes in which the catalyst is regenerated in an oxidation ambient at an average tempera ture of no more than 500°C. At the regeneration procedure conclusion the operation of the alkylation zone is reestablished with the reaction zone once more operated under conditions such as the ones already depicted before followed by the regeneration.</p>
