PURPOSE: A jig for inspecting a touch panel is provided to inspect the tail-open of the touch panel quickly and precisely. CONSTITUTION: The jig is equipped with the first and second transparent electrodes respectively formed to a surface of the first and the second substrate, and the first and second signal lines(7a,7b) respectively connecting to both sides of each direction of the X- and Y-axes of the first and second transparent electrodes. A connector(15) is connected to the first and the second signal line. A ground terminal(GND) grounds one of the two signal lines connected through the connector. A display element(LED1) such as a LED(Light Emitting Diode) is connected to the rest ungrounded signal line by receiving the power voltage. The ground terminal grounds the signal line through a resistor.
