PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning microscope for acquiring information on the quantity of light in a wide range according to actual luminance regardless of the intensity of the luminance and to provide its photometric apparatus. SOLUTION: A system controller 8 of the scanning laser microscope device outputs an A/D conversion clock (a) to an A/D converter 12 of the photometric apparatus 7 and outputs a pixel clock (p) to an arithmetic unit 13 of the photometric apparatus 7. An optical detector 11 converts light, emitted from a specimen 5 inputted via a dichroic mirror 6, into an analog electric signal. The A/D converter 12 converts the analog electric signal into digital data in synchronization with the A/D conversion clock (a). The arithmetic unit 13 computes the digital data in synchronization with the pixel clock (p) and outputs luminance data for every pixel. A storage device 14 stores the luminance data for every pixel.
