PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high carbon steel sheet which has excellent workability in FCF (Flow Control Forming Of Sheet Material) as a new working method adopting upsetting, ironing and extruding processes in addition to the conventional working method. SOLUTION: The high carbon steel sheet having excellent FCF workability comprises≥0.2 mass% C. The area ratio occupied by carbides in the steel sheet is≤20%, and, among the carbides in the metallic structure of the cross-section in the steel sheet, the ratio of the ones with a grain size of 1 to 3μm is≥20%, and the ratio of the ones with a grain size of≥3μm is≤10%.
