PURPOSE: A crank shaft having a built-in damper is provided to improve torsional vibration damping performance of a crank shaft by installing a rubber vibration isolator and inertia mass in a balance weight of the crank shaft. CONSTITUTION: A rubber vibration isolator installation slot is formed in a balance weight(3) along a circumferential direction of the crank shaft(1). A rubber vibration isolator(5) is installed into the rubber vibration isolator installation slot. An inertia mass(11) is installed into the rubber vibration isolator(5) installed in the balance weight(3) along the rotational direction of the crank shaft(1). Arrangement and positions of the inertia mass(11) and the rubber vibration isolator(5) are adjusted depending on a state of an engine. Therefore, restraining the torsional vibration from various positions becomes possible. |
